Program Details:
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Tagudilt (1,660m)
Start your adventure with a drive across the High Atlas Mountains, passing traditional Berber villages and the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m). Stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed Kasbah surrounded by palm groves and mountains. Continue to Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Sahara,” before reaching the village of Tagudilt, where you’ll spend the night in a local guesthouse.
Travel: 6–7 hours
Day 2: Tagudilt – Azarzim Pass – Almou N’Ouarg (2,300m)
Begin your trek with a walk across a plateau before ascending to the Azarzim Pass. Enjoy stunning views before stopping for lunch near the pass. Continue the descent to Azib Almou N’Ouarg, a shepherd’s home, where you’ll set up camp for the night.

Day 3: Almou N’Ouarg – Kouaouch Summit (2,600m) – Igli (1,700m)
Hike to the summit of Kouaouch, the highest peak in Jbel Saghro. Relish panoramic views of the volcanic landscapes before descending to Tassigdelt for lunch. Continue to the village of Igli, where you’ll camp near almond orchards and meet nomadic families.

Day 4: Igli – Afourar Gorge – Bab N’Ali
Start your day with a walk through the Afourar Gorge alongside the river. Marvel at towering rock formations and stop for lunch near Bab N’Ali, a stunning area with dramatic rock pinnacles. Explore a nearby waterfall before returning to Bab N’Ali for an overnight camp.

Day 5: Bab N’Ali – Asif N’Irrrezzoun – Ighazzoun N’Imlasn
Follow the river valley to Asif N’Irrrezzoun, where you’ll pass farms, almond and fig orchards, and traditional Berber homes. Stop for a picnic lunch before continuing to Ighazzoun N’Imlasn, where you’ll camp for the night.

Day 6: Ighazzoun N’Imlasn – Handour Village
Hike through small Berber villages, enjoying views of terraced fields and picturesque valleys. Arrive in Handour, a charming village where you can relax, take a shower, and explore. Spend the night in a cozy guesthouse.
Hiking: 4 hours
Day 7: Handour – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Drive back to Marrakech, passing through the scenic Draa Valley and Ouarzazate. Stop at Kasbah Taourirt for a brief visit before continuing over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass to Marrakech. Arrive in the early evening, concluding your trek.
